Picture A Day at 50mm

Welcome to my PAD.

I'm Colin Whiteley, a keen amateur photographer from near Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, England. I've been blogging a little while now on my main blog (see below) but I felt I needed something to focus me for a while. I decided to create this blog with the intention of posting one picture a day. Initially I intend that it will be a photo that I've taken on the day but I reserve the right to use older photos. If I use existing photos I will have done something with them that will make them new.

I will try to add a bit of background story to each photo, but this could be brief if I'm short of time. Hopefully you will see some things you like or not and maybe something will move you to add a comment or two. I'd love to get your feedback. Please also visit my main blog which I will continue to update as time permits.
